Meet Dr. Shane Whisenant
Dr. Whisenant grew up in Dripping Springs and is so excited to be back home caring for the folks in his hometown. He attended college at Texas A&M University earning a B.S. and M.S. in Wildlife Ecology. After a short time as a biologist, he couldn’t shake his childhood desire to be a dentist, so he returned to school. He attended dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry and has been enjoying caring for folks in the dental chair since 2010.
Dr. Whisenant truly enjoys providing trustworthy, quality dentistry to his patients. He wants every patient to know that they have his full attention and that their care is a tremendous responsibility that he respects. He is honored when folks trust him with their dental care and takes pride in taking time to educate his patients and answer any questions. He believes the trust of his patients is paramount.
Dr. Whisenant and his wife enjoy traveling and staying active outside. In October 2015, they welcomed their first child, Beckham. As Beckham gets older, they plan to be on the move again, whether it be on mountain bikes, skis, in hiking boots or visiting new or old places with a new perspective.
